بيانٌ حولَ الأحداثِ المستجِدَّةِ في بريطانيا

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

          ) وَإِذْ أَخَذَ اللَّهُ مِيثَاقَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ لَتُبَيِّنُنَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ وَلا تَكْتُمُونَهُ (آل عمران:187.          

هذا بيانٌ للناس في بريطانيا عامة .. وللمسلمين منهم خاصة: فقد لاحظنا مؤخراً ـ من خلال بعض وسائل الإعلام التي تتتبَّع عناصر وعبارات الإثارة ـ تصعيداً سلبياً ومقصوداً يرمي للفتنة بين المسلمين وغيرهم ممن يعيشون معاً بسلامٍ في هذا البلد .. كما لاحظنا سياسة جديدة غير مبررة تنتهجها الحكومة البريطانية بحق الأقليَّة المسلمة .. فتعيَّن علينا نحن ـ الموقعين على هذا البيان .. إبراءً للذمة وأداءً للأمانة ـ أن نبين التالي: 

          1- حرص الأقليَّة المسلمة البريطانية ـ سواء المواطن منهم أم الوافد المقيم ـ على السلام والأمن الاجتماعيين .. وعلى الحفاظ على هذا السلام والأمن .. لارتباطها بالمجتمع والدولة بعهد وميثاق يُلزمها ـ شرعاً وخُلقاً ـ بهذا السلام والأمن .. ويُحرِّم عليها وعلى أفرادها الغدر والخيانة، والاعتداء على حرمات الآخرين.

          2- إذ نشدِّد على الأقليَّة المسلمة في بريطانيا بأن تحترم عهدها وميثاقها مع الدولة والمجتمع .. وأن لا تغدر في شيء .. ونلزمها بذلك كحكم شرعي لا مناص لها إلا امتثاله والتزامه .. فإننا في المقابل نطالب الدولة البريطانية ممثلة في حكومتها وجميع مؤسساتها المسؤولة بأن تحترم عهدها وميثاقها مع الأقليَّة المسلمة البريطانية وأن لا تعتبرهم مواطنين من الدرجة الرابعة والعاشرة .. وأن لا تأخذَهم ومساجدَهم ومدارسَهم ومؤسساتهم بجريرة لم يرتكبوها .. وأن لا تغدر بأحدٍ منهم؛ كأن تقوم بترحيله وتسليمه إلى سلطات الاستئصال والظلم والتعذيب والغدر في بلده الأصلي، الذي فرَّ منه .. بعد أن أُعطي الأمان .. فهذا من الغدر .. الذي لا نقره ولا نرضاه.

          الأمان ينبغي أن يكون من الطرفين للطرفين؛ إذ لا يصح عقلاً ولا شرعاً أن يكون أحد الطرفين آمناً من الطرف الآخر بينما هو لا يؤمِّن الطرف الآخر، والطرف الآخر غير آمنٍ منه.

          فالغدر وكذلك الخيانة خُلُقان مذمومان شرعاً وعقلاً .. ترفضهما ذووا النفوس السوية .. وعواقبهما على صاحبهما وخيمة لا تُحمد ولا تُشكر .. ولو بعد حين، وفي الحديث الشريف:" لا إيمان لمن لا أمانة له، ولا دين لمن لا عهد له ".

Statement Regarding Recent Events in the UK

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful

Allah said: (And mention when Allah took a covenant from those who were given the scripture [saying] you must make it clear, (i.e. explain it,) to the people and do not conceal it ). Ali-Imran: 187.

This is a statement to the people of Britain in general and to the Muslim minority in specific. We have observed recently the media’s deliberate and negative incitement against the Muslims, with which they intend to cause troubles between Muslims and the rest of the society in which they are living amongst in peace and harmony. We also notice a new unjustifiable approach from the British Government towards the Muslim minority in the UK. Therefore, as it is our duty to deliver the truth in its purest form, we, the undersigned, feel the need to clarify the following.

The Muslim people of Britain are firm in honouring their covenant with this country, and are resolute in seeking the society’s security and peace; due to the aforementioned covenant that we are Islamically and rationally bound by. It is prohibited upon us to betray this covenant or transgress upon the rights of others.

In return, we call upon the British Government to honour their covenant with the Muslim minority of Britain, to be fair and just and not to treat the Muslims in this country as petty lower-class citizens, targeting their mosques, schools and organisations in retaliation for crimes they did not commit. We also call upon it not to betray any of the Muslims by deporting them to the countries from which they fled - wherein they will undoubtedly be subject to torture and execution - after they had given them a promise of security. This act will be considered as a betrayal, which we do not accept or agree with.

 It is essential that trust is honoured by both sides and it is not acceptable for one party to be safe and secure while the other is not. Betrayal is an unacceptable action rejected by any decent people and the recompense for that betrayal will reflect on the betrayer, sooner or later. Prophet Muhammad [peace and blessings be upon him] said: ‘There is no faith in the one who cannot be trusted and no religion in the one who does not honour his covenant’
